Answer - The Fox addresses the Raven as 'Sir' to flatter him and make him feel important. It is his plan to make the Raven sing and thus to get his food.

III. Why does the Raven forget that his voice is just a croak?

Answer -  The Raven is flattered by Fox's praises and becomes proud of himself. He starts believing that he really can sing well and forgets that his voice is just a croak.

IV. How does Reynard make the Raven sing?

Answer - Reynard makes the Raven sing by flattering him and praising his appearance and his voice. He fools him by saying that the birds of the wood would call him a King if he would sing. This leads the Raven to open his beak and sing.

Now, pick another example of alliteration from Stanza 2.

Answer – The birds of these woods would call you king.
